All members are expected to agree to the rules as set forth by this charter.
All members of Solidarity are welcome to take part in guild events outside of our progression raid events. You will have some access to the guild bank, the guild fleet, and strongholds.
Friend: Casual players, or players that have been inactive for 30 days or more. They are still welcome members of the guild.
Member: Active players who have all the rights and privileges of being a member of the guild. Engages in group activities (such as sm ops, flashpoints, pvp, and conquests).
Recruit: Aspiring raiders. Have applied for a position in the guild’s progression ops team. This rank is for a period of two weeks’ worth of progression raiding (4 operations). After two weeks the recruit will either be granted member status or raider status.
Raider: This is the rank of members who are on the progression ops team. They meet the requirements of attendance and DPS parsing for the current raid tier.
Maintains 80% attendance over a three month period.
Has a DPS parse on target dummies of 5,500 dps.
Core Raider: These members have been with the guild long term as active raiders. Officers are no considered no different than a core raider.
Raid members will be expected to maintain regular attendance; this includes punctuality. If you are late for a raid that you signed up for, you may be invited to the next raid. If this is habitual, then you will be removed from the raid team and have your rank set to member. All raiders are expected to use the website/discord for raid signups. Notify us if you can or cannot attend a scheduled raid night.
While we only have progression raids two nights a week, we understand burnout exists and will keep the raid climate as laid back as possible; there will be no yelling in Discord and we plan socialize and joke around before and after the raid. Please keep Discord clear during raids so we can be productive.
We will be taking endgame Operations very seriously, but still with the goal of having fun. We are interested in mature and friendly players who can work well socially with the rest of the guild, and take constructive criticism or suggestions productively.
Players will be expected to be on time, alert, and motivated for scheduled guild events. All raiders should plan on attending Saturday and Sunday raids. However, we understand that there will be some days when a core raider simply cannot make it to a raid and we plan to be flexible enough to continue progression in the absence of the member.
All raiders are expected to sign in and maintain contact with the guild at least once a week. This can be done either be signing on into the game, communicating to the guild through the website, or via Discord. Signing onto the game or Discord at a minimum once per week to maintain an active membership. If you need an extended period of time away from the game you must:
i: Notify an officer.
ii. Post your time period away from the game in the forums.
If these conditions are not met, then you will have your rank set to member. If you have been inactive for 30 days your rank will be set to friend.
Members of should be proud to wear the guild tag. Players will see their fellow guild members as teammates, and it will show through our endgame achievements and the activities done outside of raiding. We expect our players to treat fellow members with the respect they deserve. They will be just as fortunate to get into the guild as you.
The guild uses a trusted loot council to distribute loot. A number of factors will be taken into consideration, including raid attendance, performance, previous items received, and seniority, among many other factors. We will distribute loot in a way that both improves group morale and benefits progression. The members of the guild are close, and nobody wants to stiff anybody.
Membership: For players looking to be members of the guild, but are not applying for a raiding position, please fill out an application or join our recruitment discord at https://discord.gg/3WbnS8.
Raiders: If you are applying for a raiding position, please note that this process can sometimes take up to a week and we reject more applications than we accept. We will initially consider applicants based on their application; however, we may want to interview an applicant on Discord before acceptance. Applications should be neat and concise.
Officers’ Responsibility to the Guild:
The officer position in the guild is not one of authority, but one that is designed to help maintain the daily operations of the guild (website, group design, operation leading, and arbitration of member issues). As such, all officers will have an open door policy regarding member concerns, problems, suggestions, and general inquiry. Please feel free to contact any of us if you have any concerns in the guild.
Guild decisions that need to be made by officers will be done by majority vote. There will always be an odd number of officers in the guild to prevent a tie in voting.
We joke around a lot on discord. I think that contributes to the fun atmosphere of the guild and our time spent together. However, in some cases what is normally seen (or intended) as joking around can hurt others. No blatant racial slurs should be used in guild chat or on discord. This should go without saying, but if you have an issue please take it up with an officer.
